I was born and raised in Anchorage, and I’ve seen how local government shapes lives.

As a teenager in the family court system, a local judge gave me safety and a voice. When a special interest group later tried to oust him for being pro-choice, I wrote my first Letter to the Editor defending his record. That moment taught me a lesson I’ve never forgotten: local politics is deeply personal. It decides who is safe, who is heard, and who gets to thrive.

Since then, I’ve spent my career as a nonprofit leader and labor and community organizer—helping working people fight for better policies, lead campaigns, and bring big projects to life across Alaska and beyond.

Now I’m ready to bring that experience home to serve the community that raised me.

Let’s build an Anchorage that works for everyone—with energy independence, good jobs and housing, and accessible and responsive government.

If you’re ready for an Assembly member who shows up, listens, and gets to work, I’d be honored to earn your support.
